Raluca Baran-Candrea

Raluca Baran-Candrea has over twenty years of professional experience in public relations and communications, working with both private and not-for-profit organizations. As part of the Asociația OvidiuRo team, she was involved in designing public awareness campaigns that underscore the importance of early education, assisted with fundraising events, and promoted public policy measures which can reverse the alarming school abandonment rates in Romania. Ms. Baran-Candrea also worked as Managing Director of COGEP PR & Events, PR&Marketing Director for Event Horizon, and Business Development Administrator for Halcrow, both in Romania and the U.K. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in French and English Literature and Linguistics form the University of Bucharest and a post-graduate degree in public relations from the Faculty of Journalism and Communication Sciences in Bucharest.
